We are looking for Tax and Compliance Specialist as part of our growing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible to help our clients identify and reduce tax risks, meet compliance obligations, implement tax strategies that complement business and operational objectives, resolve disagreements with tax authorities, and manage tax accounting and reporting issues. You’ll be engaged in projects dealing with international tax, tax accounting, regulatory processes, tax reporting and strategy.
Responsibilities:
Researching tax laws (Local and Global)
Preparing Articles and contents for internal and external Training related to Tax and Compliance issues
Gathering information and explaining options for best practice to clients
Preparing quarterly and annual tax compliance
Preparing federal and state income tax
Ensuring that tax returns are filed in accordance with tax authorities
Issuing tax permits and ensuring that taxpayers are in compliance
Performing tax research and drafting memorandums on various federal and state tax issues
Driving development of technology solutions for tax compliance technology solutions
Managing key external advisor relationships
Training and mentoring of tax group
Reviewing and signing off on tax returns prepared internally
Any other task assigned by the management
Qualifications:
Associate’s degree or equivalent experience in Accounting, preference will be given to qualified accountants (ACCA, CPA, CA)
3+ years’ tax experience
Highly organized with excellent attention to detail
Must have good knowledge in Microsoft Excel
Handle, manipulate and analyse data and information responsibly
